Good News to Tell, Romans 1:1-17

This week we start teaching Romans, which we last studied in 2005 as part of the Explore the Bible series from LifeWay. My previous blogs on Romans start here: "What do you think of the gospel?"

Click the “Newer Post” link in the lower left corner of each post to advance to successive posts up thru September 3, 2005, which includes my notes used to teach Romans 1:1-17 in 2005 right after Katrina.

My notes may be relevant to you this week given the recent occurrence of hurricane Irene.

Co-teacher Dave Richards posted his PowerPoint slides for this week's lesson, "Good News to Tell" based on Romans 1:1-17.

Ever faithful, Gary Payne also made his slides available for the same lesson.

My class is not meeting this week. The class has "greeter duty" instead.

Follow Orders, Jeremiah 40:1-45:5

Gary Payne posted his slides for Sunday's lesson, "Follow Orders," based on Jeremiah 42:1-3,5-6,9-10,19-22; 43:2.

Co-teacher Randy Stewart has also made his slides available for download, but he warns that the box.net 'preview feature' doesn’t work well for the file (some white lettering on gray backgrounds displays improperly). Please download the file to view the slides correctly.

Stay True, Jeremiah 34:1-39:18

Co-teacher Dave Richards posted his slides for Sunday's lesson, "Stay True," based on Jeremiah 35:1-2, 5-8a, 12-14, 17a, 18-19.

Gary Payne posted his slides for the same lesson, too!

This week I begin a 10-month adventure, which I hope to report on when I return. In the meantime, enjoy the work of Randy, Dave, Curt and Gary. Lord willing, I'll continue to post their slides here each week.
