Need a plan?

Well, Jeff Meyer continues to make his Genesis lesson plans available—see this link for his comments on Work Toward Reconciliation. I’m a little surprised, but I always enjoy his insights.

For a more detailed plan to teach the lesson, "Work Toward Reconciliation", see Russ Rosser's comments here (Carmel Baptist Church in Matthews, NC).

I’ll try to post my PPT slides, but it will be late Saturday (tomorrow) given all that I have on my plate :-) .

I'm not sure who I'm leaving a comment for but here goes:
I am confused by the opening remarks in the learner's book lesson for May 11 entitled "Work Toward Reconciliation". The writer describes the Camp David Peace Accords as if they were a smashing success instead of a dismal failure. Their "deeper and fundamental goals were compatible", he says of the two parties involved. Really? One of these so-called nations, which is not a nation at all, has vowed to see every last Jew wind up in the Mediterrean. They have not changed their goal. I am 75 years old and maybe I have completely left facts and reality. If I have, someone please let me know so I can alert my children that I need a keeper. Posthaste. Thank you.

I suggest you contact the writer, Bret Selby at bselby@bgco.org. I've found the quarterly writers to be responsive to civil discourse about lesson material.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Older adults in my class who have a broader view of history may disagree with the positioning of Camp David Peace Accords as a success.

I appreciate the 'heads up'.
