Instead I thought I’d study the little known “mystery of Christmas” as revealed in Revelation 12.For those who are teaching this Sunday, an idea is to parallel the steps of the Lifeway lesson using Revelation 12 instead of the traditional passage out of Luke. We can tell the same message of the birth of Jesus Christ, but from a heavenly perspective that includes God’s plan for the nation of Israel. This fits well with our study last week of Romans 11, which addressed the question of “What about Israel?”.
As you prepare this week, try listening to Christmas Eve and Other Stories by Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
