PPT Slides for "Hope: A Path to Fulfillment", Micah 4-6

I posted my PPT slides for “Hope: A Path to Fulfillment,” which are based in a large part on the LifeWay teaching suggestions. I hope you find them useful. Pray that all the teachers sharing God’s Word this coming Sunday will be clear, interesting, and relevant to members in their Life Groups.

Another thought on the word "hope" is that today it has become a word that conveys more of the idea of wishful thinking... for example, if we say, "I hope so," we often mean that we are not sure of the outcome but it is what we would like to happen. But that is not what the bible has in mind when it mentions "hope" as one of the three abiding truths in 1 Corintians 13:13. Scripture uses the word "hope" as an absolute and unshakable certainty. It is what we know will happen before it happens b/c God said so. Take a look at Colossians 1:27.

Here's the Greek: elpis - confident expectancy.

Here's the definition: A bold confidence that what God has promised will come to pass

Have a wonderful hope-filled weekend!

Good post! To your point add this fact: God does not lie. See Numbers 23:19, Titus 1:2, and Hebrews 6:18.
