Last evening at dinner an idea occurred to me for illustrating how we should be holy like our Father in heaven. Hold up a picture of a man and his son, or show a picture of a man along with a younger man. Ask members if the younger man is the son of the older man. Why? We know he a son because the younger man looks like his father. The same is true for a Christian made in the image of God being conformed to the likeness of His Son Jesus Christ.Sunday, March 11, 2007

You sure do get up mighty early, don't you? I just noticed most of your entries are posted before the rooster crows.
Ethel, I'd like to say I have a regular posting time, but like many folks it seems each day's priorities cause some difference. Sometimes I post early, and sometimes I post late. I never know what might happen, and I take time to write as it comes. As a result there is considerable variance in my posting time.
Dillon, nice to know where Bob is located and that he is a fellow teacher. Did he indicate his church affiliation? I assume he's Baptist since he uses the LifeWay material, but I'm not sure that is a reliable indicator.
I appreciate both of you. We haven't heard from Pat or Cameron lately. I hope they are doing well.
